How You Can Help

Help us fight cancer - get involved!  There are many ways you can participate in and support our Relay For Life, including:

• Join our planning committee!  It takes a lot of people to put together a great Relay For Life, and we can never have too many volunteers helping out.  We're always looking for fresh faces, new ideas, and added energy.  To join us, for more information, or if you have any questions, please contact us.  We'd love to hear from you!
• Become a team captain!  The more teams we get, the more fun and participants we have, and the more money we raise for the fight against cancer.  Please visit our team captain checklist page for more information on what's involved with captaining a team.
• Become a Relay For Life sponsor!  In addition to teams and participants, we need corporate sponsors to help defray the costs of hosting a Relay.  This is a great opportunity to fight cancer while raising your organization's visibility in the community.
• Light a candle!  Honor cancer survivors and those who have passed with a luminaria which will be lit during our luminaria ceremony.
• Participate!  Join a team and join in on the fun, celebration, and community unity of Relay!
• Share your survival!  Cancer survivors and caregivers are our honored guests at the Relay For Life.  Come share your experience, support, and hope with others.
• Support Relay participants!  If you can't participate or support us in any other way, please give support to those who can!
• Live healthy!  Visit the American Cancer Society's website for information on preventing and fighting cancer.
• Spread the word!  Be an advocate for fighting cancer.  Help us spread the word about the Relay For Life and help us recruit new participants, teams, survivors, and sponsors.
