Last Minute Team Captain Checklist

Relay's just around the corner.  As a team captain, you may be wondering what you should be doing right now to get ready for the event.  We've come up with a top 10 list of things just for this occasion!

  1. Make sure all of your team members are registered!
  2. Finalize your fundraising plans and delegate responsibilities to your team members.
  3. Make a plan for your tent site - who is bringing what, set up and clean up responsibilities, and who will be in charge of food.
  4. Publicize the theme laps so EVERYONE can prepare.
  5. Sell luminaria.
  6. Set the walking schedule for your team.
  7. Hold a team meeting to collect paperwork and money prior to Bank Night on June 9th.
  8. Get PSYCHED and share your excitement!
  9. Invite cancer survivors and caregivers to attend the Survivor/Caregiver Lap that kicks off our Relay.
  10. Send emails from the online giving website asking people for donations.

Remember to keep checking this website for all of the latest news and event information.  If you have any questions at all about Relay, we're here to help, so please contact us right away!
